Midi playback skipping after repeat
This score is designed as a three-verse song with 2x repeats and a final ending. When it completes the first repeat, it plays to the end of the first line, then jumps to the 1,2. volta, plays that and repeats, again plays the first line (3rd time) then drops out and quits... My conundrum is that I have much more complicated versions of this layout (this song and others) where the layout plays all three verses correctly. Note that this was transcribed using AudiVeris and necessary editing. I have tried remove the repeats and the voltas, and replacing them with Musescore-generated controls, with no success. I suspect there might be some hidden transcription noise at the end of the first line, like a hidden volta structure (which I have seen before). Can anyone help?

Following up on the idea of a volta remnant, I found that when I delete the system break at the end of bar 5, a visible '1' appears above the staff at the start of bar 6. When this is deleted, and the system break inserted from the palette, the flow is corrected. However, the same condition exists for the next two system breaks before the end of the page, at bars 10 and 14. This problem doesn't exist with system breaks on the second page, but I'm still puzzled by the third ending (second volta box) being skipped. (Yes... I have the repeat list of the first volta box set to '1,2' and the measure property of that measure play count set to 3. ) Still at work, but better ....

Problems SOLVED... I had mistakenly adjusted the third ending volta box from the 2. template but never changed the play list number from '2' to '3' so the Midi player didn't know where to go after the third verse.
Lesson Learned: AudiVeris is GREAT for transcriptions but watch out for additional Inters here and there in the score that it doesn't understand. (I still say HATS OFF to the AudiVeris group!!)

When a PDF score contains the underscore (melisma) during a lyrics passage, it looks like Audiveris mistakenly interprets it a part of a Volta box and will inject that into the output, creating disruptions in the Midi playback, even if the injected part is not missing. Better to delete the lines when editing the Audiveris run, and insert necessary melismas when editing the MuseScore output.
