ok I found out there is something called musehub that is different than musescore but you might think about making this less confusing

It's not that confusing. MuseScore Studio is the application where you can create and edit music notation: "scores". MuseHub it the place where you can get different (better? in most cases, yes) qualities of sounds to play those scores. Most people disable MuseHub except when they are explicitly obtaining new sounds. Finally, the webpage musescore.com is where you can share scores and (in some cases) purchase them and (in other cases) get them for free.
