Replace custom fonts with SVG rendered images
As we all know, Musescore.scam (sorry, my keyboard already learned to autocorrect that name) doesn't support custom fonts, and only displays correctly what is supported by Musescore itself.
Hence my idea would be to have a feature in musescore, that replaces all texts with images (either SVG or PNG) that are rendered with the selected font, and placed exactly where the texts were placed before. This would allow us to circumvent the restriction to Musescore-only fonts on the .scam domain / in the web player, and allow us to use whatever font we'd like. Especially for lyrics notation this would ease up stuff a lot.
Yes, there's a downside since you can no longer edit the text, but if you only do this at the very end of production this should not be a huge concern.
The way I currently do this is to just overlay each sheet with a transparent PNG that contains the lyrics in the font I need them in, and then I just remove the originally written lyrics.
Actually this is more of a plugin request I guess, since I have little hope for such a niche requirement to be picked up by the actual devs... But perhaps someone can use an image rendering library like OpenCV for this from Musescore's lua language?
Thanks

Good job. Insult the people you want help from. MuseScore is open source, so go for the fix yourself.

1, So, you start a thread under a ridiculous false pretense.
There may be what might be considered a development team for .com. But there is no such team for .org.
There is a development team for the notation software.
Yes, there are some problems and misunderstandings on both sides. Have you read the terms of service. It is a long and complicated document that explains just how things work. As I understand it, when someone starts the Pro .com account, MuseScore checks the account of the credit card the person gave to see if it is a real account. Some places take this to be a charge and so charge the account. The account holder has to correct this themselves most of the time. Have you looked here: https://help.musescore.com/en/collections/7194739-billing-and-subscript…. This tells how to get help. How to ask for a refund. How to cancel.
You are free to complain all you want. But do it in the proper place and in the proper way. Under the guise of a bogus thread ain't it. This is a place for people that want help.
